Classroom Economy

Classroom Economy is a system used in our classroom to reward students for their good habits. Students are paid for things such as doing a job in the classroom, scoring well on a test, and being a good example at the end of each pay period (just like in real life).

And just like in real life there are also bills to pay. Students pay for things such as missing assignments, being tardy and absent, and breaking classroom rules.

Students also use their money to buy different items such as extra mechanical pencils, lead, iPad at lunch recess, colored pens, erasers, eating lunch in the classroom, and restroom passes to name a few.
